Meligalas Music School
1. General Information
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all lessons, lesson packages, and examination fees purchased through the Meligalas Music School’s online store.
The services provided are for in-person educational services at the Music School premises.
By completing a purchase, the customer fully accepts this policy.
2. No Refunds
Lesson fees (monthly or lesson packages) are non-refundable.
Reserving a spot in a lesson program commits a specific time slot and instructor, therefore no refund is provided in case of:
- Non-attendance at the scheduled lesson
- Discontinuation of lessons at the student’s initiative
- Change of mind after purchase
3. First Lesson – Non-Attendance
If a student schedules their first lesson and does not attend, no refund will be provided.
The instructor reserves their time for the specific lesson, and the absence does not burden the Music School.
4. Lesson Rescheduling
Only one (1) rescheduling of a planned lesson is permitted per package or month.
Rescheduling:
- Must be requested in advance
- Is subject to instructor availability
- Cannot be transferred beyond the current lesson period
Further reschedulings are not permitted, as they affect the Music School’s overall schedule.
5. Examination Fees
Examination fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Exams are scheduled on specific dates with examiners and organizational preparation. In case of non-attendance, the amount is not refunded.
6. Cancellation by the Music School
In the exceptional event of a lesson cancellation by the Music School (e.g., instructor illness):
- The lesson will be rescheduled
or - It will be transferred without any financial charge to the student
7. Policy Modification
The Music School reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.
Use of the online store implies acceptance of the terms.
