Harmony – Beginners (Enhanced 8-Lesson Program)

Description

The Harmony course is a foundational step in theoretical music education, designed for students who have completed basic music theory and seek a deeper understanding of music’s structure and function.

Lessons are conducted in a group format on a monthly basis, as part of systematic conservatory studies, and are an essential complement to instrument lessons.

During harmony lessons, you will:

• study basic and complex chords

• analyze harmonic progressions and musical forms

• develop the ability to understand and analyze musical works

• cultivate theoretical thinking that supports interpretation and composition

Harmony significantly contributes to a student’s overall musical education and is a prerequisite for advanced theoretical and practical studies at the conservatory.

Tuition refers to a monthly subscription for participation in a group harmony class, according to the conservatory’s program and regulations for in-person lessons.
