Harmony (Group Class)

Description

The Harmony class is designed for students who have completed basic music theory and wish to delve deeper into the structure, function, and connection of musical notes and chords.

Classes are held in a group format and on a monthly basis, forming a fundamental stage of theoretical education at the conservatory and an essential complement to practical instrument lessons.

During the classes:

• the basic principles of harmony are studied

• chords and harmonic progressions are analyzed

• understanding of musical form is developed

• the ability to analyze and write musical works is enhanced

Harmony contributes significantly to a student’s overall musical education and is a prerequisite for advanced theoretical studies.

Tuition fees cover a monthly subscription for participation in a group harmony class, according to the conservatory’s schedule and regulations.
